Energy Balls with Oats, Tahini & Honey

A no-bake snacks which is made in a few minutes and keeps in the fridge for up to a week. Ideal for the office, school or before training.

Ingredients (~12 pieces)

  • 100 g oat flakes
  • 3 tbsp whole grain tahini
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 30 g raisins or cranberries
  • 20 g dark chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp flax or chia seeds

Implementation

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until a paste is formed. homogeneous mixture that is compact. If it is too dry, add a little more tahiniIf it is too sticky, add a little oats.

Create in small balls (about the size of a walnut) and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Nutritional Note

The energy balls are a balanced snack choice, as they combine complex carbohydrates from oats, healthy fats from tahini and quick action from honey. The seeds add omega-3 fatty acids and plant fibers.

Preparation time: 10 minutes + 30 minutes refrigerator
